red velvet & sprinkles rice krispies sandwiches 1

Red Velvet & Sprinkles Rice Krispies Sandwiches:

Most of the ingredients will need to be divided in half, so that you can make two batches. One of red velvet rice krispies and one of sprinkles rice krispies. I started with doing the red velvet batch first. So, to begin melt 1 Tbspn of butter in a pot over low heat on the stove. Then, add in half of the marshmallow bag, 1/2 tspn of vanilla extract, and red velvet cake mix. When marshmallows are completely melted and all ingredients are mixed together, add in 3 cups of the rice krispies cereal. Mix well together.

Then, using a spatula (helps to spray it with cooking spray) move the batch from the pot to a 9×9 baking dish (sprayed with cooking spray), flatten down and let cool.

red velvet rice krispies prt. 4

And, you can then begin on the second batch for the sprinkles rice krispies. This is made pretty much the same except after the butter has melted add in all regular ingredients (marshmallows, vanilla extract) and not any red velvet. When marshmallows have melted add in other 3 cups of rice krispies cereal and then before moving the batch to a baking dish, add in as many sprinkles as you’d like to the mix and lightly mix together.

sprinkles rice krispies prt. 4

Let both rice krispies sit to cool, and in the mean time you can get your vanilla frosting ready. I chose to use a vanilla buttercream frosting I had previously made for another recipe from Wine and Glue they have a delicious recipe, but you can use any recipe you’d like or even a store bought one.

rice krispies and heart cutter

When rice krispies have cooled (about 20 minutes or so) you can then begin putting the sandwiches together.

Start by taking a heart shaped cookie cutter (i used a medium size one and was able to make 6-8 sandwiches) and making hearts into each batch. Make sure you make the same amount in each one. Then take one heart from one batch, spread vanilla frosting on the top, and then place another heart from the other batch on top.

Continue this until all hearts are used and you have all rice krispies and frosting sandwiches!

Instructions
  1. Most of the ingredients will need to be divided in half, so that you can make two batches. One of red velvet rice krispies and one of sprinkles rice krispies. I started with doing the red velvet batch first. Take 1 Tbsp of butter and melt it in a pan over low heat.
  2. Once butter has melted, add in half bag of mini marshmallows, 1/4 cup red velvet cake mix, and 1/2 tspn vanilla extract and mix frequently until marshmallows have fully melted an everything is mixed well together.
  3. Then, mix in 3 cups of rice krispies cereal until it is all well coated and mixed in. It is easiest for me to then transfer the rice krispies mix from the pot to a 9x9 in. baking dish (optional: add a little cooking spray to the spatula) with a spatula. Make sure you spray the dish before with some cooking spray, and then flatten them down as much as you can with the spatula.
  4. Let them sit to cool, and you can begin on the next batch for the sprinkles rice krispies.
  5. This batch is pretty much the same besides instead of adding the red velvet cake mix, make the batch like you would regularly. Melt 1 Tbspn of butter, then add other half of bag of marshmallows, and 1/2 tspn vanilla extract. Once melted, add the rest of three cups of rice krispies cereal and this time once well incorporated before moving to a baking dish, add sprinkles and mix together. Add as much as you'd like. Then transfer the same way to another baking dish.
  6. Let both of them cool, and then to make the sandwiches I used a medium heart cookie cutter, you can use any size you wish but the medium size allowed me to make about 6-8 so depending on how many you want, should impact the size you use. I cut out 6-8 hearts in each batch.
  7. Then, using a vanilla frosting recipe I had previously made from Wine and Glue (the link to this recipe is above with the picture directions) you can use that or any frosting you'd like (even store bought) to spread onto one side of a heart and then connecting another heart to it making a rice krispies frosting sandwich. Keep doing this until all rice krispie hearts are used.
  8. And then enjoy!

  2. Put the mixture into a 9x9 baking dish and bake, uncovered for 30-35 minutes.
  3. Slice up your baguette for serving or you can also use any other bread you have available. Then dip in and enjoy! Simple as that.

DIY Chocolate Heart Bowl

Perfect Valentine’s Day treat to share with your loved one or even your little (loved) ones.

DIY Chocolate Heart Bowl 2

It is crazy to think that it is already almost Valentine’s Day! Time really does go by so fast. With this DIY, it is a fun and simple project you can do with your little ones or even just for your lover or even for yourself. Super easy to do and doesn’t take much at all. This DIY Chocolate Heart Bowl is cute and tasty perfect for Valentine’s Day. It allows many uses, like a bowl. You can add any treat you want to it, candy, ice cream, more chocolates, a small gift, cookies, etc. You know all those yummies goodies that are involved with Valentine’s Day. I used white chocolate for my heart bowl but any type of chocolate works. You can find many different types of the melting chocolate I used at places like Michaels, Target, Party City, Hobby Lobby, etc. and they come in just vanilla or chocolate or even in pink, red, dark chocolate, etc, so you have man options to choose from, for however you want your heart bowl to look.

You can follow my easy steps below to make a Chocolate Heart Bowl of your own! I hope you enjoy and that it helps make your Valentine’s much sweeter.

heart bowl 6

DIY Chocolate Heart Bowl:

Supplies Used:

  • Package of melting chocolates (I got mine from Michaels called Candy Melts, and decided to go with the bright white vanilla chocolate.)
  • A heart mold ( I found mine at the Dollar Store, it is a great size and perfect material for this project)
  • Optional- Sprinkles (Valentine’s One)

Directions:

To start, take your melting chocolates and place some (about half the bag or less) into a microwave safe bowl. You can also simply just follow the directions on the bag for melting the chocolate. That is what I did, which I ended up microwaving the chocolates 3o seconds at a time on defrost mode, mixing the chocolates after every 30 seconds is up just until the chocolates re completely melted together and form a nice, smooth chocolate.

candy melts

As soon as the chocolates are melted,

melted chocolate

You have the option to add some sprinkles to the chocolate mixture or just use chocolate as is, and/or to place some sprinkles all around the heart mold before adding the chocolate.                                                                                                  heart sprinkles

I used a spatula (which made this easier) to take the chocolate from the bowl and began spreading it all around my heart mold. Make sure you do the sides as well so that you create a bowl type rather than just a flat heart. Make sure there is enough chocolate on the bottom and sides, so that it is thick enough to hold other yummies and won’t fall apart so easily. But, don’t add too much chocolate that the heart mold fills all the way up because then you will create a big chocolate heart instead of a heart bowl, which is OK if that’s what you are going for.                            heart mold                                          heart mold prt. 2

Then you have the option again to add some (more) sprinkles on top of the chocolate you just spread around the mold. This is all based on how much you like sprinkles and what look you are going for.  Be creative with it, instead of adding the sprinkles everywhere, you could also just add some around the rim of the bowl, or even make a design on the bowl. It is all up to you. But be sure not too take too long, the chocolate starts to set and harden pretty quick.                                                                                                                               heart mold prt. 3

When you are done, just let the heart mold sit to harden up. This really doesn’t talk long to do at all. I waited around 10 minutes or so and it was nice and hard. Make sure you feel all around the heart to make sure there aren’t any soft spots still hardening. When it is done, the rubber material that the heart mold is made from makes this part super easy to just peel it off and way from the chocolate. Make sure to still be gentle though when taking it off. Then, you should have a cute and beautiful chocolate heart bowl! You can also smooth out the top of the bowl by gently breaking off some of the extra pieces of chocolate that are sticking out.                                                                                                       heart bowl 2

heart bowl back

Now that the chocolate heart bowl is made, you can decide what you want to put in it! There are so many options like I mentioned before. From candy to ice cream to gifts and more. Really almost anything will look just so cute inside your chocolate heart bowl. Below I have some cute ideas for you and another easy chocolate making goodie to go inside your bowl.

hearts bowl 5

Throw some conversational heart candies inside and have a colorful and yummy treat.  Wrap up and give as a gift, or keep for yourself and chow down or even use as a decorative type piece on Valentine’s Day.

heart bowl 5

Or you could even add some MORE chocolate to it and make these adorable and easy lips and mustache chocolates. Super cute and another perfect Valentine’s treat.

vday goodies1

kiss me be mine

These cute chocolates are again super easy to make much like how you made the bowl. I found this ice cube tray that had these lips and mustaches made out of the same material as the heart mold from Target. I decided to try making the some chocolate lips instead of ice lips and they came out just as nice. With my extra white chocolate I had from my bowl, I took what was left and melted them the same way, then when done I added some bright pink food dye to the mix,

gel food colors

and added the new pink chocolate to all the lip holes, and then you can either dye more chocolate with black dye or like me I had another bag of black chocolates and used that for all the mustaches.

lips and mustache mold

Once hard and done, pop them out gently. Make sure they are fully done before popping them out or they will brake. And then you have adorable lips and mustaches to share with your loved one on Valentine’s day! You can have fun eating and playing with them. Or even give them all as gifts in your heart bowl. These goodies can also be fun for kids to help make with you and to eat afterwards.

There are numerous more options to do with your DIY chocolate heart bowl, I hope you liked this idea and that it inspired you to create one of your own. Have fun with it and feel free to share any creations you come up with. Love to see them. Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day with the one’s they love or even by yourself or with your girlfriends! Anyway, may it be filled with lots of goodies and yummy food.

You can go here for the how-to it is really simple just need some cooling time before you can put on the glaze and enjoy it!                                            kahlua cake with pumpkin glaze

Then we have some delicious No-Bake Cookies (oatmeal, chocolate, and peanut butter are the main ingredients) these are a long time family favorite and are easy to make, no baking so you can easily continue making your other thanksgiving food. 4. One of my all the time favorites is the banana bread, and I recently made it even better by adding nutella to it! So good, and this would be a great dessert if you want to go a little healthier but still have something yummy to eat. My boyfriend finished ours within a couple days, if that. the nutella really adds an even more delicious touch to the already good banana bread.  You can go here for the how-to.    banana bread with nutella2

We have red velvet cupcakes, and the how-to to make these cute owls. You can go here and add some great entertainment to your thanksgiving party. You can easily make these owls any color you wish, don’t have to be purple, I just thought they were super cute in purple. White would also be really cute and classy or a really cute idea I recently saw is to instead of making them owls make them turkeys! Use brown colored frosting, same eyes and beak but instead add candy feathers much like this one here. Play around with them and have fun.       Purple Owl Cupcakes
  6. And finally, a recipe I found from another blogger that combined two of my favorites around Thanksgiving time, pumpkin pie and cheescake. Yo ucan’t really go wrong with pumpkin pie and cheesecake, right?!                    So easy to make and with the right amount of pumpkin flavor, these pumpkin cheesecake bars taste exactly like a cheesecake that crossed paths with a pumpkin pie – the best of both worlds!

Delicious Banana Bread With Nutella

I have always loved banana bread.  I used to not have it that often though, that is until I got old enough and now have a family of my own and am cooking and baking a lot more. Ingredients
  • 3 bananas I usually use almost brown bananas, or ones I saved in the freezer
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour All purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tspn baking powder
  • 1/4 tspn baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon or less if you don't like cinnamon, I barely taste it with this amount though.
  • 1/4 cup Nutella give or take add more or less on liking
Servings: loaf
Instructions
  1. Start by preheating your oven to 250 degrees. Then in a bowl, start mashing your bananas. I usually use a fork to mash them up nicely, using almost brown or frozen bananas work great in this recipe and are easy to mash up.
  2. Add the sugar, oil, and egg to your bananas mixing lightly, then add the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.) Stir until moistened.
  3. Spray your bread pan with cooking spray on the bottom and sides, then take your banana mixture and pour half of it into the pan. Take your nutella (you can put it into the microwave for a couple of seconds to help loosen it up, to be able to smooth it out easier) and spread a nice even layer on top of the banana mixture in the pan. Then cover that up with the rest of the banana mix.
  4. Bake for 50 minutes (could be more or less depending on your oven, keep checking it after it has been at least 40 minutes. Check by Inserting a cake tester or a toothpick into the middle and see if it comes out clean.
  5. When done, let the bread cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan. After the 10 minutes, take out the bread and place onto a cooling rack or such and let fully cool of usually about another 20-30 minutes or so.
  6. Then you have a delicious and super moist and flavorful banana bread with nutella! I hope you enjoy this as much as I do, try not to eat it all in one day (hehe). As the holidays are coming up this would be a lovely treat to pull out, it goes by fast so depending on how many people are with you, may need to make more than one, everyone is sure to love it!
Recipe Notes

Enjoy!

Bonus Tip: I recently made this same recipe but instead put the mixture into cupcake tins, baking them a little longer than 50 min. at 250 degrees. And then topped them with Nutella, making them like cupcakes! They are delicious and the kids loved them!

Mama’s No-Bake Cookies

I have loved these cookies ever since I was a little girl. My mother has been making them and my grandmother has been making these cookies since she was a little girl.  Our whole family loves them and we find any occasion or just because to make them (Christmas cookies, for birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving, Summer time treat, a baby shower, whatever!) They are super easy to do and requires no baking! Now, that to me is a great dessert. Especially when you take a bite into them, you’ll fall in love and find yourself going back for more and more.

no bake cookies

I had my sister make these last year for my baby shower, and that was a good and bad idea. I kept eyeing them and got so caught up with all the excitement by the time I was able to go get one they were all gone! I was so upset! But, I just had her make me another batch later when the shower was over. But, they were a big hit and everyone loved them. You get a little chocolate, oatmeal, and peanut butter in every bite and the combination is just amazing and rich. You wouldn’t think that these were so easy to make.  You can follow the recipe below to make your own mama’s no-bake cookies, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

no bake cookies 2

You can follow the recipe below to make your own, usually around 2 dozen can be made depending on how big of scoops you make.

nobakecookies

Once they have sat and cooled, they should be hard when picking up and not gooey or soft and not rock hard. When you bite into them you will be filled with an amazing and delicious taste, and wanting to go back for more. If you have never tried no-bake cookies I insist on it. I hope you enjoyed this recipe and that they make your day, party, occasion. Please feel free to share any creations you make.

I am so glad my grandma brought these delicious treats into my life and so I can share them with my family and I am happy to share this recipe with you!

Instructions
  1. To start, mix together the cocoa and sugar, then add the butter and milk all into a saucepan. Make sure you have your peanut butter and oats ready in their portions since as soon as you are done boiling the rest of the ingredients you need to add them right away.
  2. Boil for 1 minute on the stove, and then remove from heat. Make sure you keep the boiling time to only a minute! (They are tricky and if you boil longer then this may result in it taking longer for them to sit and harden.)
  3. Add the peanut butter and the oats to the mix as soon as possible.
  4. Then use wax-paper or aluminum foil to place the cookies on. Using a spoon or similar object begin, scooping the cookie mix onto your surface, placing them evenly apart. Don't worry about them being weird shaped or a perfect size and shape, these cookies aren't meant to look that way!
  5. Depending on how big you scoop them, you could end up with about two dozen cookies. I always have the urge to make a couple bigger ones just for myself (hehe) but remember that they are pretty rich, delicious, but rich.
  6. Let them sit and cool for about 30 minutes. Like I mentioned earlier this depends on how long you let the mix boil for. You might have to let them sit and harden longer.
Recipe Notes

If you get the boiling stage wrong, it can take a very longtime for the cookies to set, so try to get that stage just right. It really messes with the way these cookies set to be a delicious treat!

Mud Pie Oreo Ice Cream Cones

For National Ice Cream Cone Day #NationalIceCreamConeDay and the Last day of Summer #Lastdayofsummer I have created a fun and delicious Ice Cream cone for you to try! I was so excited to make this and eat it! I was inspired from a previous post I did on our families favorite Delicious Summer Dessert: Mud Pie! It is so good, I decided to make an ice cream cone with pretty much the same ingredients. This is a quick and simple ice cream cone treat, perfect for any day especially during the Summer time.

You can follow the easy steps below to make your own Mud Pie Oreo Ice Cream Cones.

oreo ice cream cone

Mud Pie Oreo Ice Cream Cones:

Ingredients:

oreo icecream cone supplies

Directions:

  • Take your Oreo Cones and your Chocolate Fudge and with a spoon drizzle a small amount of the chocolate into the bottom of the cone.

Ice cream cone prt. 1

  • Then fill the rest of the cone with the Heath Ice Cream leaving the last inch or so empty.
  • Drizzle another layer of the chocolate fudge and then sprinkle some of the Heath bits over the fudge.

  • Once that layer is done, finish up the ice cream cone with another scoop or two of ice cream and then drizzle all around that your chocolate fudge and more heath bits.

  • You want to make sure your ice cream is pretty frozen before making these as of course the ice cream starts to melt fast while adding all your toppings. Like mine because I just got too excited and eager to make my ice cream cone! But it is still delicious just messy.

I hope you enjoy this fun and delicious treat especially on National Ice cream cone day! It is very refreshing and sweet and a way for me to somewhat enjoy the family favorite mud pie. Halloween Caramel Apple Slices

I was so excited to try my own mini Halloween caramel apple slices! I got my nieces and nephew and we all had a blast decorating and eating these delicious treats. Perfect for the Fall Season and especially delicious around Halloween Time. This easy and delicious snack is super fun to do especially with the kiddos and a fun way to celebrate the upcoming Halloween time month. But it is also super fun for adults as well. I also included an extra fun twist on the caramel apple slices with the adults in mind. You can follow the steps I took below to create your own Halloween Caramel Apple slices and a fun buffet type way to set-up the decorating process.

Hope you enjoy and have fun!

  • I then took all the fun sprinkles and assorted adds and placed them on a table for all of us to be able to reach and add whatever we wanted. I warmed up my store bought caramel dip from Safeway “Old Fashioned Caramel Dip,” so that it would be easier to spread. If you’d rather make your own, this is a great recipe from Mom on Timeout.

caramel apple buffet

  • When you have your table/buffet section ready, then place your apple slices in the middle and allow everyone to make their own mini caramel apple slices.
  • We made some fun creations and the kids had a great time decorating and eating them! Decorate your apple slice anyway you like, switch them up or even make them all the same for a Halloween Party.

My nephew loved the Halloween bones sprinkles. It was all quite messy with the little ones, but if you put down a sheet or something before then the mess is fast to clean up. I just let them go at it and worried about the mess later.

This is Jayda! She mainly loved just eating the slices.

This is Jordyn a.k.a Jojo! She loved everything! Making them, helping me set up and definitely eating them!

And this is Wayne! He made the biggest mess of all, but he couldn’t get enough of the goodies!

I hope you enjoyed this fun Halloween treat idea, great activity for the kiddos and if you don’t have any kiddos this is still a delicious and fun treat for you as well. I sprinkled a small amount of my pumpkin spice onto one of my slices with chocolate morsels and it turned out delicious. Have fun with them and add all sorts of fun stuff to them. Another fun idea would be to have a Halloween caramel apple slices decorating party! For the kids or maybe even for the adults and include some Halloween movies playing in the background and some wine! That sounds like a fun time to me. Happy Fall!

P.S. check out our post on the Kahlua Cake with Pumpkin Spice Glaze for more delicious treats!

Kahlua Cake With Pumpkin Spice Glaze

That title may come off strong but this cake is oh so delicious and flavorful.  This recipe is a twist of my mother’s Kahlua cake she has been making since I was little. I always loved it. So simple and delicious, no frosting needed.  So, since the fun Fall Season is coming and I having been craving to make my mom’s Kahlua cake, I decided to try a twist with Pumpkin spice glaze and spice it up a bit for the season.

kahlua and pumpkin spice

This recipe is really simple to make, just takes some time baking and waiting for it to cool. But, it is totally worth it in the end. You can follow the steps I took below to make your own Kahlua Cake with Pumpkin Spice Glaze.  Hope you enjoy!

Kahlua Cake With Pumpkin Spice Glaze:

Ingredients Used:

For the cake:

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (no pudding)
  • 1 box (3.75 oz) chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups of sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cups of Kahlua
  • 1 6oz package of chocolate chips

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons  of Kahlua
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice (You can go up to 1 Tablespoon if you really like the taste of the spice.) If you want the pumpkin spice if you want a regular glaze just use the first two ingredients.

Kahlua cake supplies

Directions:

  • To start, put all the cake ingredients in a  bowl besides the chocolate chips. Mix at a low speed for about 2 minutes until it is well combined.

  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Put the batter in a greased bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for an hour.

  • While the cake is baking, you can make the glaze.
  • First, whisk together the powdered sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Then, add in the Kahlua and whisk some more until you get a smooth glaze. You can taste the glaze to make sure it is at a level of spice flavor you want. Remember, that the glaze alone will be stronger when not on the cake. But, keep in mind the cake starts to overpower the flavor after awhile.

  • Once the cake is done baking and completely cooled (make sure it is not warm at all since it will make the glaze start to melt) pour the glaze over the top of the cake by moving back and fourth around the whole cake.

  • Then you are ready to serve and enjoy! This cake is seriously moist and oh so delicious. I recommend anyone to try this especially if you have never tried a Kahlua cake before.

For an alternative to this version of the Kahlua cake, you could also try replacing the regular Kahlua with the Seasoned Kahlua Pumpkin Spice Liquor, and give this cake an even more pumpkin spice kick! Or even just leave out the spice all together and have a regular Kahlua cake.

I hope you enjoyed this twist of the Kahlua cake and it was all you imagined. Fun little treat to take you into the Fall season. Very simple and easy to make.

Purple Owl Cupcakes

It is my littlest sister’s 12th Birthday and she absolutely loves owls! So, I decided to make her some owl cupcakes for her birthday party.  I got this idea from gronciktales, as I was searching owls on Pinterest. I love the idea and thought it was so cute, and just knew that my sister would love them. Of course, I made them my own way but the inspiration came from gronicktales. I was so excited to get started, just so that I could be done and give them to her!

Purple Owl Cupcakes

You can follow the steps I took below to make your own purple owl cupcakes or something similar. They weren’t perfect but they came out very cute and owly!

Purple Owl Cupcakes:

Supplies/Ingredients Used:

  • Cupcake/Cake Mix (I ended up using a red velvet cake mix, since that is what she wanted. Any mix can be used, or make your own!)
  • Cupcake Liners (I used plain yellow ones, have fun with it and use whatever ones you like.)
  • Oreos (Regular sized, if you are making more than 12 cupcakes then you may need to get two boxes of oreos.)
  • Chocolate Morsels (Medium Size, I used Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels, make sure they aren’t too small or minis.)
  • Frosting (I used vanilla cream cheese frosting.)
  • Purple Food Dye (Or any color you’d like, I used Wilton Gel Food Colors from Target that had 4 neon colors of Magenta, Orange, Teal, and Purple.)
  • Keebler Mini Fudge Stripes Cookies (These can be found at Target for only a $1.)
  • Cupcake Baking Tin

Directions:

  • To start, make your cupcake mix the same way as the directions on the box, the only thing I ever change is the water to milk.  Place your cupcake liners in your cupcake tin and then fill with the cupcake mix. I only have a 12 cupcake tin, so I had to do two different oven sessions. If you buy a cake mix to make these cupcakes, the box should say the time needed if you are making cupcakes.
  • While the cupcakes are baking, this is when I started making the purple frosting.  Just simply take your frosting and the color dye of your choice, drop only a few drops of dye into the frosting. I used about 3 drops. Then mix it all together with a knife.  If you want a darker color then add a few more drops, or for a lighter color than fewer drops. You can put half of the frosting into another bowl if you don’t plan on using all of the frosting for the purple dye.

Purple Frosting for Cupcakes

  • Once my cupcakes were done and cooled, I then applied a nice layer of frosting to each cupcake.
  • Then take your Oreos and open them up slowly so that you get all the cream on one side. If this doesn’t happen to some that’s okay get as much as you can and take a knife and scrap the frosting together so that it looks full.  Each cupcake needs two cream filled Oreos for the eyes.  Place them closely together towards the top of the cupcake with the cream side up.
  • Then, take your chocolate morsels and place them upside down so that the flat side is up and close to the inside edge of each cream on the Oreos.
  • When your eyes are all good and ready, then take your Keebler cookies and break off pieces of them for the beaks. I found out that if you break a piece that has the fudge stripe in the middle and then angle the piece it really looks like a beak. See picture below.

Fun Owl Cupcakes

That’s it! Really easy and fast to make. Have fun with them and clean them up a little if you like, by smoothing out the cream side of the eyes.  These were really easy to make and I was so excited to give them to her. She loved them and so did everyone else at her party! There are many other fun ways to make these owl cupcakes, feel free to share with us any cool creations you come up with and/or if you make your own purple owl cupcakes like these.

Owl Cuppycakes

I ran out of time for these owl cupcakes but another cute idea would be to get some pretzel sticks and place them at the bottom of each cupcake to look like tree branches. Another cute idea I saw for owl cupcakes was from nicolephoto, and cutest food.  All of these are perfect for the Fall Season coming up and for anyone who loves owls! Hope you enjoyed, have fun!
